A few years ago we realized that something needed to be done to increase the love and harmony in our home! We were sick of having to ask our children five times to do something and we were tired of nagging, cajoling, bribing, yelling, and giving time-outs!
This is when we started formulating a parenting program called “The G.O.L.D. Standard.” When we started this program, it was as if a transformation had taken place in our home! Our children started becoming accountable for their own actions and became more cooperative and willing to work. The amount of whining and arguing decreased dramatically!
We have been revising and improving the program ever since that time. We started to have many friends and family members ask us how they could start this program in their own homes. The response was so positive that we decided to put together a book and website so that we could share the G.O.L.D. Standard with others! transforming and fabulous

At first, you may think it is too complicated. But it only took about 45 minutes to plan out our system of rewarding positive behavior. And only about 10 minutes to explain it to my 8 yr. Old. We did a "learning" week, then fully implemented it on week two and never looked back. We literally saw a completely different child in 2 days. While this May not work as quickly for everyone, our child was very responsive to it. She does chores without being reminded. Our night time and morning routines are now painless! She wants those tickets!! (We actually use those craft pom poms ) This book is a quick read and it worked!
